Ravi, a student from India is puzzled that the world is not really serious about Global Warming and the depletion of natural resources. He wonders why petroleum is still the primary fuel of automobiles and why, when information technology progresses in leaps and bounds, automobile technology hasn’t had any revolutionary developments.
He takes up a project to make Solar Energy the primary source of energy, and in the process becomes a superhero powered by the sun - Suriyan. Powers that help him fight corrupt officials who, pursuing their own interests callously destroy the environment, and some possessing the military power of a small country.
Suriyan – Comes the Dawn is the first of a series of 24 page comic books that promise to educate, entertain and uplift. Written by Ashok Rajagopalan and Asvin Srivatsangam, the pair behind Dynast – The Rise of Bherek White and Neelakshi – Guardian of Amrit.
